Kandy Bahadur, MD, FAAP, earned a BA in Psychology from New York University and received her medical degree from Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Following medical school, Dr. Bahadur completed her three-year Pediatric residency training as well as an additional year as Instructor of Pediatrics/Chief Resident at the Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital/ Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. During this time, she was awarded the Arnold P. Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching award as well as the Mercy Urgino Compassionate Doctoring and Caring award.
She worked in private practice for approximately 5 years prior to joining Advocare West Morris Pediatrics. She is also a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) after successfully completing the didactic and practical sections of the Certified Lactation Counselor Exam. Dr. Bahadur currently resides in Randolph, NJ with her husband and two sons.
